Product Description
The type forms are typical of ornate, 19th century fonts with decorative features such as the ball terminals and looped M referencing calligraphic flourishes. The colour gradient running through the text was achieved by blending two colours manually on the hand roller. The brackets were cut to match the font from lino as none were available.
Set and letterpress printed by hand on GF Smith’s ColorPlan 270gsm paper. We used an Albion press circa 1890 to pull the two-colour prints in one press pass. 100 signed and numbered prints in this edition.
