Brief

Harry Barton is a bright new talent in the world of classic motorsport, with four first in class wins in his first season. Barton Racing has been set up as a family business due to compete in four race series next season. With an ambitious five year plan in place with a succession of three BMWs, it was essential to build a profile for Harry and a strong brand and website for the team.

Direction

The application of the Barton Racing brand required a dynamic flexible approach. A distinctive brand, consistently co-ordinating website, social, race car and support vehicle livery, race suit, gloves, helmet and print was developed. The flying BR, embracing BMW racing stripes and a chequered flag, can be used in various formats and broken into individual elements for favicon use etc. A slightly retro approach to the car livery and racing gear is wholly appropriate for the classic race series, whilst reflecting a crisp, clean feel.
